I just love ecofriendly finds! And having kids in the house, makes this one looks particularly interesting! Stainless steel straws - how cool is that? I can envisioning tossing these in my purse to have one at the ready anytime. They cost $18 for six straws, but just might be worth it to have fewer plastic straws thrown away. Check them out at Brook Farm General Store.

New Keychains

I have been wanting to create a key chain using a style similar to my hand hammered aluminum and copper bookmarks. Well, I finally got it done! Like my bookmarks, they are totally hand crafted - cut, filed, drilled, hammered and finally stamped with an initial - all by my own two hands. These unique key chains add a personal style to your keys without adding much bulk or weight.

Silver and Shabby Etsy Treasury

Today I am honored that my Orbit Anklet was included in a lovely Silver and Shabby treasury on Etsy created by BRYDFERTH. It is a very well done treasury filled with subtle textures and colors.


Hailey of BRYDFERTH has some lovely things in her shop. I love this wonderful brass and fabric "I heart Nature" necklace. It has a lovely shabby chic elegance.

Fresh colors for Spring

This is the time of year when I have grown tired of winter grays and start to dream of the coming of spring. Especially this year, since we have gotten wave after wave of snow storms. When I sat down to create new designs this weekend I found myself repeatedly drawn to the fresh colors of the changing seasons. Below is a sampling, but I’ll be posting many more to my Etsy shop this week!


Bimini Earrings – faceted watery Swiss Blue Topaz briolettes are suspended below faceted Labradorite rounds.



Cruzan Earrings – a subtle gray freshwater pearl and minty green Aventurine gemstones sway beneath double loops of oxidized sterling silver.
